"Passive Cetacean Observation" integrates all the knowledge from the "World of Whales and Dolphins" training and adds Duocean's leadership method for respectful cetacean interaction. During this online training, you will learn, among other things, how to approach cetaceans by boat for a whale-watching experience, the roles of the captain and the guide. You will have access to Duocean's briefing, which allows for optimal group management to facilitate close encounters with the animals while respecting their tranquility. You will also learn how to communicate with the animals, understand their behavior, and manage the risks associated with this type of excursion.
